About Merinja Guesthouse

Merinja Guesthouse is a family-run property on Police Line Road in Naivasha, built on a simple idea: give travellers a calm, comfortable and genuinely welcoming place to stay near one of Kenya's most beautiful lakes.

Hosted by a team our guests mention again and again — we look after 7 rooms set in a quiet, green compound with a garden, terrace, shared lounge and outdoor fireplace.

Mornings start with a buffet breakfast (full English, Irish, vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free options), the garden and gazebo are made for slow afternoons, and our kitchen can organise a chef or dinner on request. Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island and Mount Longonot are all a short drive away. Our aim is simple: make every stay feel like a home away from home.
